Testing

Testing and Counseling

Nebraska AIDS Project provides free, confidential and anonymous HIV testing and counseling, with results available the same day. Free HIV testing and counseling is available at NAP locations in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney and Scottsbluff.

For testing in your area, please contact your local office. Information is located under the “Testing” drop down menu.

NAP offers Clearview Complete HIV anti-body screening. Clearview Complete is a rapid HIV test that involves a finger prick, and is offered at the Omaha and Lincoln locations.

STD Screening Now Available in Omaha

Urine screening for gonorrhea and chlamydia is now available at Nebraska AIDS Project for a $10.00 fee, which includes treatment if necessary. An HIV test is required prior to an STD test, and NAP offers testing to anyone age 13 and older. While HIV testing may remain anonymous, STD testing must be done confidentially, which means you will need to provide information such as your name, date of birth, and telephone number. STD testing is available during all regular HIV testing hours.  Please refrain from urinating two hours prior to getting tested.
